Open Grady 72-Hour Releases
Grady County does publish a recent-release view. The Sheriff’s inmate-search route identifies the Grady County Criminal Justice Authority and points to TCSI, the roster vendor. Within that system, the release page is labeled exactly “Released Last 72hrs.” Its URL also identifies the `last72` view. That direct label makes it the correct public source for a three-day Grady County release check.
The list is evidence that TCSI moved a booking from its active set into the rolling release bucket. It does not show whether the person returned to the community. A transfer to ODOC, another county, federal authorities, or immigration custody also ends the Grady booking. The release reason and receiving agency must come from the detention record.
The official Grady released list is live and may show a changing total.
Do not preserve its current count as a lasting statistic. The people and total change as the rolling window advances.
Check Grady's 72-Hour Releases
Use the rolling list to discover a recent Grady County departure, then verify the record against the booking and any next custodian. A last name narrows the results, but a name alone can match the wrong person. Booking and case details add stronger identity checks.
- Open “Released Last 72hrs” and enter the person’s last name in the filter.
- Select a possible match. Compare full name, age, booking date, arresting agency, booking number, case or warrant number, and charge description.
- Check the active Grady roster if current custody is uncertain. A record there remains in the vendor’s active group.
- Call GCCJA at 405-222-1000 when the exact event matters. Ask if the booking ended by discharge or transfer and request the destination.
- Save the identifiers and obtain the jail-register discharge entry when written proof is needed.
A person missing from both lists is not automatically released. The spelling may differ, data may lag, the event may be older than the rolling window, or the person may never have entered Grady County custody. For a narrower same-day question, Released Last 24 Hours explains why no distinct Grady feed can supply a true one-day cut.
Grady 72-Hour Release Fields
The Grady County release summary is spare. It lists basic identity fields and opens a much fuller booking detail. That detail helps match a person and case, but it still omits the decisive discharge facts. Blank values are possible, and the scheduled-release field should not be converted into an actual release date.
| Field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Name, gender, age | Visible on the summary and useful for sorting possible matches. |
| Select Inmate | Links to the booking detail with a photo and more identifiers. |
| Booking number and booking date | Tie the result to a specific Grady County booking and date. |
| Primary offense and arresting agency | Show booking context, not the final case outcome. |
| Age, sex, height, weight, race, hair, eyes, glasses | Descriptors on the detail page; use only what is needed to resolve identity. |
| Warrant or case number, charge, bond, fine | Charge-level detail that can help find the matching court matter. |
| Schedule Release Date | A schedule field observed as N/A on released records, not proof of when discharge occurred. |
| Actual release time, reason, destination | Not displayed. Request these fields from the proper Grady County custodian. |
The booking photo may help separate similar names, but agency numbers and case data carry more weight. The list itself supports only a recent departure from the active booking set.
Note: A scheduled date and a completed Grady County discharge are different events, even when both relate to the same booking.
Grady Weekend Release Coverage
A three-day view is useful after a weekend because it keeps more of the rolling period visible than a same-day list would. The same is true when an office holiday interrupts a reader’s usual check. GCCJA posts lobby hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and says the lobby closes on major holidays, but those are not release-processing hours. No Grady County source publishes a daily discharge time or weekend processing schedule.
Do not assume a late court order will appear at once. The detention center must receive and process the authority, and another hold may prevent community release. TCSI also gives no posting cadence. If a weekend event is absent, call the jail and ask about the exact booking. A court docket can show a bond, dismissal, sentence, or release order, yet only the custodian can verify when the facility acted.
The GCCJA contact page supplies the jail phone, address, and lobby schedule used for that follow-up.
When Grady Release Entries Expire
Grady’s 72-hour release product is a short discovery window. It is not a permanent roster archive. The “Released Last 72hrs” label is the only stated period, and no longer online history was verified. Once the rolling clock removes an entry, the last-name filter cannot retrieve that older booking. No official Sheriff app was found. The linked Facebook and news channels do not promise a systematic Grady County release log.
Preserve the booking number, booking date, arresting agency, and case number during the window. Then move to the jail register and court record. Sheriff Records can receive a focused request for the booking and discharge entry. The OSCN docket search may retain the judicial history, while the Grady County Court Clerk is the official-record route when the online docket is incomplete. A court action explains legal authority but does not certify physical release time.
The Oklahoma jail-register framework identifies the date or manner of discharge or escape among the public fields when those records are kept. That is more precise than a vendor bucket. It does not impose a separate retention promise, so an older Grady County release should be requested with enough booking and case detail for staff to locate the existing entry.
Note: After the TCSI window closes, use the jail-register discharge entry for the event and the court file for its legal context.
Confirm Grady Release Meaning
A focused records request should ask what the public web view cannot answer. Give the person’s full name and, when known, date of birth, booking number, booking range, and case number. Request the jail-register entry, booking sheet, actual release date and time, manner of discharge or escape, releasing authority, destination or receiving agency, and any public hold or detainer notation. Ask for existing records rather than a new explanation.
The Sheriff Records page offers an online request and records@gradycosheriff.com. It posts $1 for the first emailed or printed page and $0.50 for each extra page, plus $10 for a DVD and $25 for a thumb drive. Wait for an exact quote before paying. Some reports may be emailed, while some may require a subpoena. No fixed response time was verified.
| Grady record status | What it means |
|---|---|
| On active roster | The vendor still treats that booking as current custody; call for live confirmation when timing matters. |
| On Released Last 72hrs | The booking moved into the release bucket, but the reason and destination remain unknown. |
| Discharge to community | The local booking ended without a transfer shown; supervision or another case can still exist. |
| Transfer to another agency | Grady custody ended, but custody continues with ODOC, another county, USMS, BOP, ICE, or another named recipient. |
Grady Releases Across Custody Systems
The TCSI feed covers bookings at the Grady County Detention Center. It does not report release from an Oklahoma prison, federal institution, or immigration detention. If the Grady discharge entry names ODOC, search the ODOC offender database. Institutional status means state custody continues. Parole or probation can mean community placement under an active sentence, while a later discharge record marks a different event.
Use VINELink for a person-specific status check or custody-change alert when the record participates. It can corroborate an event, but it does not replace the Grady release entry. For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator. A local federal pretrial detainee may instead require the federal docket or U.S. Marshals route. Immigration detention calls for ICE ODLS.
These results can be true in sequence. A person can be released by Grady County and become active in ODOC or another system the same day. Record each source’s time and agency scope, then ask the last confirmed custodian where the person went.
For a named person whose history may cross several agencies, the Grady County released inmate search sets out the full local, state, notification, court, and federal sequence.
